As a Salesforce Senior Developer you are responsible for working on salesforce Development projects from end to end interact with both Business and IT teams.

Analysis & Design 

• Write briefings, and you review architectures;
• Works with senior members of client teams to analyse business requirements, translating those requirements into simple, effective technical solutions using the Force.com platform;
• Checks and challenges existing requirements by reviewing, understanding and analysing business processes / architectures;
• Manage the technical development team.

Build & Innovate 

• Implements Force.com solutions that adhere to platform best practices and perform peer code reviews including custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Aura, LWC), integrations with 3rd party systems through API’s, and complex data migrations;
• Customize applications by making the best use of point-and-click capabilities of the Salesforce platform in adherence with the customers’ specifications;
• Create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation and triggers;
• Executes and potentially leads development work from design through testing and deployment;
• Estimate work effort, set a realistic schedule for development and meet the deadlines;
• Identifying risks, issues, opportunities during execution and recommend solutions, ideas and more efficient approaches. 

 Testing & Deployment 

• Bug Fixing is one of the main job roles of the Salesforce Developer. This is essential for the smooth functioning of the platform. This is the perfect timing to include admins in the process where they can contribute their valuable feedback;
• Consult on the functional test plans and conditions for assigned applications/ for projects of varying complexity. Ensure that the test plans cover the testing of all defined functional requirements;
• Support data analysis and validation from functional tests;
• End responsibility for technical delivery on projects.

Innovation & Maintenance 

• Post-delivery - assists client teams in supporting the live application and perform handoff and knowledge transfer activities, positioning our clients for long term success;
• Serve as a Salesforce administrator as well if requested;
• Perform optimizations of existing customizations to improve performance and provide a solid foundation for future changes;
• Ongoing documentation throughout the development also forms as a major role of the Salesforce Developer. This can be communicated with the Salesforce admin so that they are prepared for any customer interaction/support issues.

Your profile

• Committed to go the extra mile for our clients;
• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field
• 5-8 years of professional experience, of which 4+ years working experience in Salesforce application development and support;
• Required certifications: As Medior + Dev501, Platform App Builder;
• Expert proficiency with Apex, Visualforce, Controllers, Custom Settings, Force.com, Triggers, JavaScript, JSON, and SOQL required;
• Experience with web application development, including Java, C# or NodeJS, as well as HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, Angular JS, JSON;
• Strong experience in writing and maintaining code coverage with test methods;
• Specific industry knowledge and/or experience in Retail, CPG, FS is desired;
• Excellent English, Dutch and/or French is a preferred.
